Is anyone able to post their exported MediaPortal Sky UK Channel list.

Looking for a sky channel list thats got all the channels sorted out and in groups. Save me some work

Hi SorrowUk,

As discussed, please find attached a fresh full export of TV and Radio stations on 28.2e.

They have been automatically grouped and renumbered using DJBlu's code.

You will need to edit the XML export file (as it has details of my test HTPC in there) - Good luck in importing it (I've had issues in the past!)

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

I've just done some testing, and you won't have to edit the XML file. The import function should handle it.

All you need to do is remap the channels to your card(s) via the MePo configuration program (once they have imported)

Hi

The series link should be quite robust and flexible.

It only records programmes having the same series id on the channel the series link was set up on (I was always under the impression that series link does not span across channels and developed it this way - please correct me if this is wrong)

The duplicate channels with different SID but same VID and AID and probably have the same seriesID thus duplicate recoding.

Still doesn't explain the SD and HD channels being recorded, is there a way to check that they don't both have the same seriesID?

I seem to have hit a bit of a problem - epg not being updated for Freesat channels

Worked fine when I first installed it last week - now I'm just getting plenty of channels showing "No Data Available" in the TV guide. I haven't changed anything. Tried a manual update but still the same - any ideas??

The freesat EPG is quite thin on metadata, and we're at the mercy of what the broadcasters give us - frequently they give the episode description; if I'm lucky I also get the episode name and rarely do I get the episode no. I'd like to be able to manage my episodes is a more sophisticated way, and capture series no and episode no as separate metadata. There are nice tools on other threads that do this, but they need more info than what the freesat broadcasters put into the description text.

Is there a way that we can translate the Series ID field into something like S01-E01? I'm assuming that this would probably need a web lookup?

Thanks for the update Richard. It just seemed a little odd that none of the Freesat channels are getting any programme info at all.

I'll reinstall the relevant files again and see what happens.
