It is the freeview EPG but they also ask for the ability to add DRM to the Freeview HD channels under certain circumstances - the licence change they ask for, however, is just to allow them to add DRM and there is no guarantee that they won't just DRM the whole set of HD channels.

Today is the last day to get your say in, so if you don't do it now then you will have to live with the results. Ofcom are intending to let them do what they have asked for.

    Brit Shorts gone?

I [successfully] used DJBlu's solution and did get the EPG data for FreeSat using Brit Shorts as said in his instructions. But Brit Shorts seems to have disappeared.

I haven't chenged the FreeSat XML file from last year but Brit Shorts doesn't appear.

Anyone know what I should be using for FreeSat EPG now - especially with the recent chatter about the Beeb thinking about encrypting the EPG data?

It's still working with Brit Shorts, at least on my system. Somebody reported they'd couldn't pick up the channel in an auto scan earlier on this thread, and had to add it manually. I posted my tuning details for Brit Shorts here.

    Just installed the newest SVN.

The tswriter.ax from 1.1.2010 caused the streaming server to fail to open the tsbuffer. If I use UNC paths then everything works fine, and I can watch recordings with UNC paths.
I have had problems with the streaming server before but not this problem.
