As promised.
How would you like to have all your sky channels searched and found in under 25 seconds?
Try this then.
TSWriter 1.1.0 RC1
Ok, I'll try to explain how this works.
Stop your TV Service
Now make a backup of the following files.
TSWriter.ax
TVLibrary.dll
TVLibrary.Interfaces.dll
Copy the contents of the Zip file into your TV server directory.
If you wish to have your Channels grouped, i.e. Entertainment etc.. then rename the groups_uk.dict/groups_it.dict to groups.dict
If you don't want to group then skip that part.
There is a new file added, Sky.cfg, this has 2 basic settings.
GetSkyNumbers=1
If you don't want the sky numbers change it 0 (Zero)
SkyQuickScan=1
If you want to search every transponder then change it to a 0 (Zero)
Ok now thats sorted.
To do a quick scan .....
I would recommend you clear both TV and Radio channels before continuing. You can export your channels first.
In the TV Server configuration, navigate to the Channel Scan page.
Click New scan. Select "Use Advanced tuning options"
Now enter these details.
Frequency : 11778000 Khz
Symbol Rate : 27500
Polarisation : LinearV
Select "Single Transponder Search"
Then click "Scan for channels"
The search will take around 25 seconds and you should have around 910 channels, 770 TV and 140 radio. This method will find the channels that aren't "switched on" for example if you searched at 9 in the morning it would still find BBC Three etc..
If you have and faults then please post them in here and I will take a look into it.
