Hi iancalderban

This may be left from when there was a "Group" button in the TV plugin. When you pressed it a popup window appeared with the groups that were defined in TV Server configuration.

I think this was removed some time ago (maybe a year or so ago) when switching between groups was moved to the miniEPG.

    Porblems with Powerscheduler

    Hi DjBlu,

I may have a potential problem with the Powerscheduler and the adapted TSWriter/EPG grabber.
    I posted my tv.log.
If you look in the log, you can see that after the scheduled recording has finished, the Powerscheduler is ready to shutdown the system but immediately [2 seconds] after that the EPG grabber kicks in and prevents the shutdown.
However, after the EPG grab, the Powerscheduler doesn't react anymore and the machine remains turned on.

Could you please have a look at this and tell me if this is related to the adapted TSWriter?
If not, I will open a new thread in the support forum.

    Regards,

    Peter

Internet Explorer and your Configuration Window is preventing the shutdown according to this.

I seem to be experiencing a problem similar to the one jmbillings mentioned.

If I set MP to grab EPG while Idle after sometime of not using my HTPC the TV service just hangs, It does not respond to channel changes and eventually just locks up. It wont let me restart the TVServer service i have to kill it from the process tab in task manager and then click start and then relaunch MP and it works. If I disable EPG Grabbing while Idle then I do not have any problems. Except im not sure if my EPG will update this way.

    Any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks

I never got to the bottom of this- however in the original thread here Tourettes gave a link something that can be done to debug it. I've not actually gotten around to trying it yet though. Having said that, his thought that it could be something in the satellite stream may make sense - I don't seem (fingers crossed) to be getting it at the moment and that might be to do with the fact that I've re-installed since then and perhaps I've not picked whatever channel it was that was causing the original problem?

I have looked at it m8, and nothing I have added should cause this as I have set all the flags required to let the Server know the grab is complete. Also your log shows that the database is updated which means it is finished with the TSWriter so this looks like a bug to me.

P.S. u know you have Luxe HD selected for an EPG grab too.

    Hi,

I have a problem. I can not get the epg to populate, any advice? I have mediaportal version 1 with the newest tswriter from the first post. I have it set up as in the pdf and it seems to grab the epg but when I open mediaportal it says no data available?

    Thanks in advance.

Any progress on the Sky EPG DJBlu?

Also any chance of an update for build 21720? The last SVN TSwriter update was from 01/02/2009 and yours is from 18th January. Big :D
