sorry, please excuse, but I have absolutely no clue which codec I should prioritize From the two log files I have attached in a previous mail I cannot extract that info. I must also confess that I am an absolute beginner in that area.

The problem is rather than using Directshow-Filters Windows Mediaplayer uses Mediafoundation Decoders by Microsoft.
But their sourcefilter is not that good.
You have to disable this filter by renaming "mfds.dll" under \Windows\System32\ (you need full access in file security settings).
After that install LAV Filters via MP Extension Installer if not yet done.

It's not the best solution, but by this way it works for me.

Uff, that's a little bit too much. I hoped that there is a simple solution to that problem. Anyway, as I have a workaround I will stop here and I want to express that I am really happy for your support.
