    Hi

    Not had cause to visit these forums for a while as I've had trouble free use.
    I've just upgraded my TV to a Samsung 4k model. To go with the new TV I also upgraded my Intel NUC to a 4k capable one.

    MP installation was fine, all seems to work OK, except that when I watch a video & get a dynamic refresh rate change the audio drops out. If I then switch back to live TV I get a black screen instead of the TV picture & still no sound. Menu displays OK.

    Turning off dynamic refresh rate eliminates the problem, but I get jerky videos due to the rate not matching the source.

    I've attached logs of when this happened, watching live TV I then go to my TV Series & play an episode of Pawn Stars, sound goes, then I flick back to live TV which has the black screen, then I export the logs.

    Thanks

    HR

    :mad:

    I decided to go to Win 10 with the new build. The licence key cost me all of £2.49 on eBay. Back to 7 I think, never let me down.

    @hucknallred :)
    Yep do like @azzuro explain and you are surely also running in the FCU blackscreen issue :(
    So you can install this version from the post :
    [WiP] - madVR support in MP1 (MediaPortalSetup_1.19_madVR_Master.zip)
    It should contain the latest fix for it but you need to enable the option like explain in the first post (FALL CREATOR UPDATE (1709) WORKAROUND)
    Good luck :p

    Hi, have tried things suggested except the madVR (no time yet). I've taken a system image & will roll back to Win 7 & see how that goes before trying any more fixes in 10.

    Thanks

    The madVR build can be used with EVR, it's just that this one has latest code to trying to workaround the blackscreen issue :p
