SpinSafe Revolve (2 Viewers)

Hello.

Ive been working with this skin and the myfilms plugin today and i came up with a few skins, i modded jay_galway's listing thing to work with the new myfilms plugin 4.2.4 i hope he doesnt mind . currently it only works properly in list view. however i have made another skin that works in icon view, i tried to model it as close to the way My Videos looks like with the exception of the runtime. i couldn't find an id that would give me the runtime from the plugin in that view. sadly i have not found a way to combine the two layouts yet as I am very new at this. right now i cant figure out how to switch things off when a different view is selected. example: in list view a rather large cover is shown on the left side but i cant figure out how to turn it off in icon view. any help would be greatly appreciated.

MesFilms-List.xml (remove -List, works in list layout for 4.2.4)
MesFilms-Thumbs.xml (remove -Thumbs, works in icon layout for 4.2.4)
starhalf_horz.png (move to /media folder, used for the rating halfstar in icon layout)

really strange is, that on my 64bit VISTA system, where i got Mediaportal working
now, i don't have the cover issue with coverview. I will have a deeper look on it,
but for me it isn't so important any more because your described view ( own with
filmstrip ) is much better

I love youre spinsafe revolve skin, but after the last update you have increased the font on the episodes alot so now just 3-4 episodes is visible at once, somewhere i can manually decrease this?

I gues you talking about TVSeries plugin. The reasion for this is that if you use latest SVN of the tv series plugin you get preview pictures on the diffrent episodes (if avalible).

EDIT: You can edit this to make it fitt you need by open TVSeries.xml and change the values in

<description>text list</description>
<type>listcontrol</type>
<id>50</id>

The new progress bar also gets a kind close to the top banner with me.

Could you elaborate on what to edit so more episodes can be shown? I too would like to see 8 or 9 instead of 4 or 5.

Fill up your system specs in control panel. You are probably not running SVN version of MP, are you?

Yeah Latest SVN, but the MP screen just blanks (displays frozen desktop) (updated my Specs), when i switch the weather overlay off again. MP works again.

Hi using the latest SVN of MP (today), TVseries, MCEpluign, etc...
MP now reports as 0.2.3.0 so the latest version of the skin is flagged as old and incompatable.
I usually just update the references.xml to get rid of the error and everything is fine, but it appears something else has changed as the skin will not load.

FYI if I go back to an older verions of spin safe revolve then it works,
SpinSafe_Revolve_Skin_070501_1855 is OK.

Can we get an updated version of the skin for the latest SVN 0.2.3.0 ?

Yes, im working on a update...but dont know when it will be released.
It will not be a big one, have a small skining timeout for the moment...it summer
