Hi, Is there a way of changing the default layout to Filmstrip instead of List when entering MyVideos?

Yes, you can configure default views in MP Configuration tool.

I'm sorry I'm a total noob and starting to use mediaportal. I can't find the settings to change the default, I'm using MP last version, could you guide me where are the settings?

1. Open the Media Portal Configuration from the Start Menu/desktop shortcut
2. Click on Movies
3. Click on Movie Folders
4. Edit a Shared Folder
5. Change Default View to FilmStrip

Also for the database views

6. Click on Movie Views
7. Select Most Frequently used 'View' e.g. Title
8. Edit the 'ViewAs' field to FilmStrip
9. Click Save

Media Portal should now default to FilmStrip for your videos.

One more thing that would be great is if I could start Mediaportal directly in MyMovies menu, and that would be perfect for me since I'm using it just for dvd viewing , any chances?

You need to enable 'Show last active module when starting/resuming from standby' (I think this works when opening/closing Media Portal as well).

You can find this setting in Media Portal Configuration under General->General Settings

Are there any mirrors available for revolve and xperiment? The server for them seems to be down and I cant download them.

I'm having problems downloading revolve as well. It looks like the best skin around to me, but just happens it's not retrievable.

Well, the regular revolve skin link is working again (server seems back, so thanks!).

Any idea when the experiment files may showup again? I really love one of the configurations for moving listings.
