Hello every body,

I know many of you are still wishing to have a Spotify plug in for MP. Nope, I don't have it. Unfortunately. As many had note, the developers haven't released any tool or info, to develop other software for Spotify.

But....

Some one with proper knowledge may follow this link because those guys in XDA-DEVELOPERS have created a real Spotify client for Windows Mobile platform via an intermediate proxy.

This could be our way to take full control of Spotify.

Im aware of these Windows implementations that are more or less based on the Despotifier. These could be used too but then user must have a premium account.

I cant' play songs...A text message say: This song is not supported in your country or similar :-( I use the spotify client and works well in my country!!!

Can you help with this??'

Unfortunately, in the current version search returns also tracks that are not available in some countries. I'm planning to implement in the future versions that user can choose which country he lives in and then filter out unavailable tracks from search results.

Which country do you live in? There should be at least some tracks you can play..

I've also got that message a few times. It happened once when I tried to play the same song a second time, just after the first. I could also play the same song in the spotify client in windows. I've only seen the error a few times, last om new years eve, so it hasn't been to much of a bother for me. I also thought at the moment that the error could come form me using the same spotify username on two different computers, but that is just me specutlating...

Track with same name in Spotify is not necessarily a same track with same name in Spotifier.

The search API of Spotify returns different results than the one in Spotify client and the API even returns results that cannot be found by using the Spotify client search.

Yes, I think it was the same when I tried in windows spotify, because it was the only matching title "upp gledjest alle, gledjest no" from the album "strålande jul" by the artists Odd Nordstoga and Sissel Kyrkjebø. And when in mepo spotifier it was the same entry, in the same playlist. But as I said I wasn't sure it was a bug as there were other possible explanations to the error. I just reported it here because there was a possibility that it could shed some light on the previous posters problem.

By the way, thanx for a nice plugin. I use it daily!

I'm from Spain. The strange is that songs that can't play with the plugin I can play with the spotify client.

Based on your response I've seen is that the search returns identical ... some songs are playable, some not. Filtered according to the country would be great.
