XBMC plugin/integration is now officially released.
Looks great. Only for Linux so far though. The dev is working on a windows port using openspotify.
Test: Spotify i XBMC
Might server as some inspiration.

Works only in Linux and only Premium accounts...

Spotifier works on Windows (necessary for MediaPortal obviously) and doesn't need Premium account.

Spotifier > XBMC Spotify

I upgraded Spotifier and now it can't find anything. Starts up nicely and Spotify running... Help?

Which country do you live in? Check Spotifier configuration that country/region matches your country setting in Spotify account.

I see that you have added my volume problem to "known problems", that's great. Do you need any logs?

I also have a feature request It would be great if you could let the user alter the name of Spotifier in the MP main menu. For example, the "Online Videos" plugin lets you do that. I understand that it seems natural for you to use the name of your project. For a non MP geek though (i.e. my GF) it is only confusing when it says anything other than just "Spotify".

Well it seems that we are not able to adjust the volume using Mediaportal features because the actual music is not played through MP. However I made an implementation where volume controls adjust Spotify client volume when in Spotifier.

I'll look into your feature request but as it's just cosmic it's not very high on my priority list

Sure, it's just a minor design/usability request About the volume issue, do you mean that you have already implemented that method of changing the volume, or is it something that will be part of a future release? If it's already implemented I can't see why it won't work for me.
