Is anybody here using the Squeezebox?
I'm currently developing a plugin for controlling the Squeezebox through the MP interface and I might need a few testers when I have gotten a bit further in development.
I am current not using anything like this.. but it looks sweet! I do use ORB to stream music and videos accross the internet.... I look forward to seeing your plug-in in action for those of you who have a squeezebox!
Here is a link for more information on this product.
Hi,
how are things going with your SqueezeboxPlugin?
Because a Friend of mine have one and i installed for test purpose the free Squeezebox-Server (there is a softwareSqueezebox as well to test it)
I'm also using both the Squeezebox and MP. Iäm willing to help you out with testing. The SB server is running on a different computer (small, quiet Linux-box (www.kurobox.com) though...
Put me down as a tester as well. However, my slimserver is not on the same systems as MP. There was a plugin for Meedio that connected to Slimserver but they had to be on the same system. I like to split mine apart (one day hoping to have a ReadyNAS to run Slimserver on)
Sorry for not replying sooner. Somehow I had stopped watching this topic and didn't think anyone had responded.
The squeezebox plugin is about 60-70% finished.
There are still some issues with the squeezebox overlay and the handling for really large libraries is not yet complete. I've been concentrating on Razor and Clarity lately so I haven't put much time into finishing this plugin.
There is no problem running the SlimServer on a different machine. You just enter the adress and port of the SlimServer in the configuration window. I currently run the Squeezebox plugin on three differen mp setups with the SlimServer running on one of them.
I'm downsizing my big honkin' HTPC case to a mini PC, which means the tried and true Hauppauge Colossus card that bridges the set top box into Mediaportal needs replaced with a different solution.
I currently have HDMI from the STB to the colossus. Mediaportal is controlling the STB through a USBUIRT blaster and the blaster is...

@Brownard, just a stupid question.

I can select my Media Source, however i seems to only briefly been shown and the goes back to the list. So i cannot actually edit it.

Lets modify the Media Source.

I was not previously aware of the "Drive Free Space" plugin, and it is not easy to find. (There really ought to be an easier way of finding plugins.) There is this thread that introduces the plugin, and this thread that details some changes to the Titan skin made by Gary Martyn (from 2013  ).
I installed the plugin on my Aorus...

I have a multiseat MP setup running version 1.33. I use the Titan skin and yesterday I decided I would update all my plugins on my...
Just those I attached.
I messed about with task priorities MP/TV-Server/SQL-Server and the issue changed to the skin.. I would do something, but it would be 10's of seconds before the action happened. Doing an Alt-Tab would flush the actions. Too weird lol!!
So, with some flak from the family, I had to give in. I just did a...

So, this one has me quite stumped.
