Right, I overlooked the information. Sorry about that.

Nonetheless you provided a new informaiton, which was not that clar to me from your initial posting: The issue only occurs when trying to start Live TV the first time, after that it is ok. I believe I have observed the same thing - actually I just made a comment about this in a different context where I said that I never bothered to follow up on it as the work-around is quite straightforward. I

I'll be following the progress of the analysis here.

I think when I start the first time from tv over the button tv on it works directly. Only when I start the first time from program guide this issue is happens. But later i install the newer Version and test all again. From everywhere.

So here my test.. First test..

# Start Mepo with watchdog, setting 1, so its vanilla start. Then i go to Live TV section an turn tv on --- it works directly (sreen 1) stop live tv

# aftet this i go to program guide and start it from there with click on a show in tv guide, it works now to.

# Close Mepo and make log 13:20 pm

# Start Mepo again with watchdog, setting 1, go to program guide and tune a channel from tv guide -- now i have the issue, sound but no picture (screen 2) stop live tv

#now i do it again with same result, no picture but sound. stop live tv

# go back in live tv section and start tv over tv on, it works like it should. stop live tv

# now i go into program guide and try to tune in from there and it works to, but only when i start 1 time over tv on in live tv section, after this it works to from program guide, without that it wil not work directly from progra guide, no matter how many times I try it.

Just to let you know: I can confirm that attempting to start Live TV for the fiorst time from within the guide is not working, yielding only sound but no picture.The 2nd attempt is then working correctly.

In the error case, the EVR log shows an extra message:

I don't know if it's related, but timing seems to be close to the dialog that MP showed you:

Just to let you know: I can confirm that attempting to start Live TV for the first time from within the guide is not working, yielding only sound but no picture.

I retried it under the these conditions:

• Resumed PC from standby
• Stopped and then restarted MP
• Opened the guide and OK'ed a show

This time I was not able to reproduce the issue.

Eh there was no Dialog shown for me. And can restar mp or the complete pc and its always the same. Maybe drc makes Problems ? That's the only Dialog that was shown in live tv section but not in tv guide section. Later i will disable it and try again.

I've no idea why it's not doing 'TvPlugin.TvFullScreen init' - the graph is built and running (looking at evr.log and TsReader.log) - so something in the player or TV plugin is going wrong or not happening.

I assumed that was because the channel was selected in the guide, and so it was only going to show in the corner (as per the screenshot)...
