stopping a started scheduled recording (1 Viewer)

, going to the TV guide and selecting stop works for me.

I'll have to admit I haven't tried that one BUT, that would be of no use for "manual" scheduled recordings (i.e the ones set up with the "advanced record" button) as there would be no tie in to the "tv guide".
A "manual" schedule does not highlight any "tv guide" entry red so, you cant stop the recording by the method you describe.

Just to refresh. This only concerns scheduled recordings. Pressing the REC button can be stopped normally.

Isn't there a plug-in for manual recordings? Not sure of it suffers from the same issues.
