I created a little pack of xmas backgrounds, they replace the hover_my*.png's in your media folder. A couple of the backgrounds are from the "xmas aeon" thread, the rest are from all around. Thx goes to the guy who uploaded the xmas aeon

I'm to lazy to scrshot all of them, just download and extract the media.rar to check out how they all look. If you like them just paste them inside the media directory of streamedMP. If you don't wan't to have to reinstall, just make a copy of your mediastream folder and name it streamedMPxmas, then paste them inside the media folder there. Remember to delete cache before loading the skin, especially if you don't create a new folder for this skin.

These backgrounds will be the new background in most of your screens, and in myhome. If you want them in the regular basichome you have to put them in the media\animations\"foldername"\. If you don't like spucks centered myhome.xml, you can download the one I posted above.

Guess I could upload the mod I made for myself for the ultimate homescreen

Basically its a merge of pilehaves homescreen and mattsk's basichome. I encourage you to grab pilehaves mediastream.dll as well for this to behave like it should.

This does not replace basichome, but your standard home. So remember to untick "start with basichome screen" in mp config.

with this mod i cant see any menus. i have added myhome.xml, onts.xml and the mediastresm.dll. any idea?

forgott to enable mediastream addon. i miss the tv function with this mod though

Yeah I don't use tv, so I didn't add it. I got a lot going on these days so I don't have the time to do one with tv either, but maybe someone else can.

To get shoutcast to work, which files do I need?

I used your "ShoutcastDirectoryListView.xml" and "hover_shoutcast.png".
My shoutcast looks a bit messed up. I don't have a screenshot now but the white part of the image with shoutcast logo is shown at the bottom on top of everythin and I have some weird time and date at the upper right corner which is not aligned very nicely.

This is an excellent rejig of the TV-OSD which I think should be looked at for SVN inclusion.

I've rejigged your rejig - what do you think to this for showing that something is recording...perhaps the simple change can be added to all screens to show something is recording even when not in Live TV sections.

EDIT: This is a mockup - I would take about 3 weeks trying to get this into the xml ...I wondered if you thought it was worth implementing.

Do you take requests?
I know you fix the TV OSD and the progress bar when you fast forward TV during timeshifting....however, can you make the progress bars look the same?
It looks like you're using 2 different ones here.
