Ok, I've tested the new files: they are all ok except for the plugin in windows folder (StreamedMPConfig.dll). It appears to maintain some dependencies in 32bit folder so, in pure MPx64, it throws an error in MP Config, related to "MP installation not found". It's not a big issue for me (it seems that this plugin is used only to set some preferences, contained in a file that I have already copied from my previous 32bit installation, so I can safely skip it) but I think it deserves to be fixed.
Thanks a lot for your great support!

I was unable to reproduce your issue. Can you describe exactly the problem(the message)?

Decided to try installing x64 v1.33 after seeing this post. I had x86 1.32 installed. Installed x64 first without deleting the x86 version to check it was working. Then deleted x86 version. Then reinstalled x64 as it didn't like it. Anyway streamedMP is working perfectly for me.

    I'm using MP 1.36 x64 with StreamedMP 3.2.2 and the modified libraries from this post [WiP] - 5154: MediaPortal 1 - x64 - SharpDX

Unfortunately the dll in the plugins/Windows folder causes an error when opening the plugin configuration or when starting MediaPortal.
I attached a configuration debug log and an image of the error. The configuration-error.log is empty

Do you have the MP x64 correctly installed? Please, check this registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\MediaPortal

    There should be a text value "InstallPath"="C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal"

Ok, so I'm about to upgrade all my machines from win10 pro/MP32bit to win11 pro/MP64bit
To get StreamedMP to install, do I need to install MP 32bit first, install streamedMP, THEN install MP 64bit and use the updated StreamedMP files?? is that right? or is there a way to install streamedMP on MP 64bit alone

Just trying to figure out the process before I start

    Thanks

You can probably get it to work by copying the StreamedMP files to a memory stick and then after you have installed windows 11 / 64bit MP copy those files to the 64bit folder.

If this doesn't work, then unfortunately yes you have to do it as you stated
