Sounds like you're getting close to the issue here, and from what i can read it looks like a 'weak' signal issue. It think i would test that further (maybe move the PC if that's possible?)

    Good luck ;)

    ** EDIT **
I just got my TV Card up and running in the HTPC. I've scanned for channels using the new frequencies (i noticed another change on this site so i added a few frequencies. During scanning signal has been 100% all the time.
When i tune to a HD channel, the picture is there withint 2/3 secs and from the start it's synced.
    Using PDVD11 codec for TV.

So.... The sync issue i was having before with NED 1, 2 & 3 (didn't have any other HD channels before 1-9) is also gone.

Can't see that the card makes any difference, but it really starts to look like a signal issue on your side.

Ok, I have done some small changes again..

I have relocarted the Signal amplifier to the entrance of the cable into the house, and it seems to be significantly better.
I have installed SAF 6, tried FFDSHOW DXVA as H264 codec for TV, but this was worse then the windows DTV-DVD codec.. ffdshow resulted in not really stutter, but just a bit 'restless' image. When checking with Shift-1, the red and greeen line were way more jagged then with the windows codec.
The PDVD10 codec seems to work OK as well, but frame rate is reduced to 25 fps, works great with Discovery Showcase HD though.

But I am now at a point that it is acceptable to watch Nederland 1 HD again.. I will continue tweaking, I need to download PDVD11 and try that codec.

Is it still so that when downloading the PDVD11 trial, that the codecs are installed and can be registered and used even if the trial period has ended?

    Thanks,

    Lots

    I don't think so. :)

    Hi all,

With some help I managed to install the PDVD11 codec without installing the trial, but this did not bring the improvements I was looking for. Somehow the PDVD11 codec fails to use DXVA and allways falls back to software decoder, rersulting in low 25fps frame rate in stead of 50fps (I can change the settings of the codec in Radlight directshow filter manager>direct show filters>select Cyberlink Video decoder PDVD11 and then button Properties page.. but somehow allways SW is selected for decoding in stead of DXVA, when selecting DXVA, Apply, close the properties page, start watching TV (check with shift-1 .. dmn.. 24fps!!) and then go back.. it is on SW again..)

But I have watched Nederland 1HD using the microsoft DTV-DVD decoder for more then an hour at 50 fps, brilliant video, and no stutter whasoever.

I declare my issue closed.. it is working ok now.

Right now I think it was a combination of troubles at Ziggo itself (temporary weak signal after the channel change) wrong positioned signal amplifier and last but not least, not the right codec selected for H264 decoding live streaming HD TV.

Thanks everybody who tried to help me find a solution for my problem. Great to have such an active comunity here!
