I think we need a thread with overview of current TSReader patches/binaries available. It's getting quite confusing having all these mods scattered around.

My thought'as exactly, surprised Tony can keep track as well lol :D

Yep, agree to that. By the way, the 2nd Patch does also not solve that Issue....

    @Tony,
is it possible to integrate the buffering/delay into a nonstopmod version of the tsreader?
The patched2 version is really running very smooth here, but I don't wanna miss the advantages of the mod...could you please do so? ;) :D

    It's on the roadmap :)

    Which issue ?

    Tony

The stuttering on live-TV after channel change after some minutes...

From my point of view, what I can see in the logs and the stuttering on TV no TSReader.ax - File could solve the Issue.

    What about the others?

Hey Jimbeam, for me the same, no TS Reader from tourretes or Owlsroost will work correctly.

Check out the German thread i postet a own TS reader without trigger of Pause for you to test. So I want see how
long TV works well, when A/V to Render underflow will be detected. So I think the Calculation of A/V to Render is
sometimes very strange, i would say here is/goes anything wrong. When there is really a to fast systemclock problem i would
expect continous stuttering at first, further maybe freezes or something else. For me it work aktually great without
triggering of pause, but i must test it longer. At the moment TV works great also about 1-2 hours after first A/V to render
underflows occurs. So when the calculations really accuratly and shows a Value for an real diff. from Systemclock to Broadcaster
clock, TV must be stocking(or something else) near after the happening of an buffer underflow message...
The next thing is that MePo 1.0.2 without all this stuff, TV works great for me with about hours after Zapping to an channel.
And also other things are strange with all this when comparing my two HTPC HW bases.
I dont think my Systemclock or the Broadcaster clock is dependent on MePo Versions.)
I try to check out where is the problem, but i dont know i able to do this, iam not a software Programmer and
in the past i only wrote Programms in ASM and C for small MCU´s for basically hardware projects that i desigend.
I Think it takes much time for me first to understand the whole important Code and Problematic in Detail.

    Hi Flomann,
    you mean this thread:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...dabei-pause-200ms-renderer-100874/index4.html
I'll also have a try. In the meantime there are at least 10+ tsreader version flying around ;)

Yes in this Thread, have you the same Problem with runnig out A/V to Render?. Actually i only know this from JimBeam.
Yes, there are many TsReader mods, but actually i dont really mod anything, i only disable the Pause, for further investigation.
Also my Testversion of TSreader is identifiable by logging entries at the beginning and changed Log entry when the first A/V
    underflow will be detected.
The TS Reader with log will be further calc and logging A/V to render, this can make big Logfiles with a lot of entries,
the other TS reader without Log dont make further calc and logging from A/V to R after first buffer underflow.

So when you have also Problems with to fast and sometimes jumpy ansd strange A/V to Render degration and underflow
threshold, so test the TS reader, but be carefull, have you really a to fast systemclock than TV will become worse effects.
So iam interested how and how long it works after zapping or after first calculated underflow message.

    Hello everybody,

Thanks for engaging in the solution of this issue.

However, the referenced German thread speaks of two issues (well, my fault I guess):

    1. 200 ms Audio renderer delay
    2. Discontinuities (micro-stuttering) when playing German HD channels

Since the stuttering can also be observed in recorded files, it doesn't seem to be related to the tsreader but I may of course be wrong. Could you advice me whether I should post a new bug report here that describes this specifc issue?

    Thanks,
    HTPC_Sourcer

TS-Reader is used for recorded TV as well as live TV.
