I did some more tests and everything worked fine Did not see the stuff about Italian subtitles or failure to download again. If I encounter any problems I will provide log files.

With this great plugin, is it possible to download and render subtitles for live tv with speed and offset alignment ?

SubCentral does not do any subtitle rendering nor it has any settings for rendering, this is done by Mediaportal itself.

1.0 will have couple of more features too (already available in Alpha version in first post). Was thinking about making a 1.0 stable release in line with MediaPortal 1.2 Beta. So soon

Thanks for the fast responce! Last alpha version i've tried had some problems.. But when next version arrived i'll give it a try for sure!! Good luck and thanks for this awesome plugin..

Maybe you could try the version in first post and tell me about the problems. It's the only way to fix them

You would make me REALLY happy if the possibility to fully automate (without user intervention) the download of subs was added......

Hi

First let me thank for Subcentral, it’s an excellent plugin! Until a few weeks ago it worked flawlessly, but now everytime I want to download a subtitle it gives me this error message: default folder “some random movie on network” is not writable (see log file). It’s the same for maped network drives, but if I do the same thing for a movie stored locally on drive c: it works. So logically my first thought was that it must be a network problem. However I have full control over this network-movie-folder (read, write, delete) with all other programs (explorer, moving pictures etc) and strangely I can delete subtitles from within subcentral, but just not write new ones. Both machines run Win7 x64 and all programs are the latest stable releases.
I have spent many hours trying to change network settings but with no effect on this error and everything else is running perfect. I then also tried to install the new alpha version of subcentral but this did not change anything. So now I am really at the end of my pc-knowledge, but I would really like to make this work again!
