Hi, thank you for your work!
I have installed the alpha, but it gave me this error (from the error.log of mediaportal):

2011-01-28 09.49.06.053146 [ERROR][MPMain(1)]: OnMessage exceptionystem.TypeLoadException: Impossibile caricare il tipo 'MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIBaseControl' dall'assembly 'Core, Version=1.1.5.16142, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.
in SubCentral.GUI.SubCentralGUI.OnPageLoad()
in MediaPortal.GUI.Library.GUIWindow.OnMessage(GUIMessage message)

and the result is that all the input field have a text like "#SubCentral. ..." and I can't do a search (see the printscreen).
I'am on Mediaportat 1.2.0 Alpha; is this the problem? If so can you compile a version for 1.2.0 Alpha for me to test?

Hi! I'm not sure about this. I've compiled the Aplha against 1.2 Beta. Maybe that's the problem

Ok. The new dll worked
I can now search for subtitles from the SubCentral plugin.
BUT if I search for subtitles from Tv-Series or from MovingPictures, as far the subcentral screen is drawn (I can see the list of sutitleproviders), Windows says that "MediaPortal has stopped working" and if i press the debug button, the Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger says "An unhandled exception ('<System.StackOverflowException>') occured in MediaPortal.exe [2148]". Any idea what's going on? In the logs a can't see anything usesful.

Guess it boils down to the version of MediaPortal you use and binaries SubCentral was compiled with. I use latest MediaPortal SVN (1.2 Beta) with no such problems.

If you would be kind to send me Core.dll, Dialogs.dll, Utils.dll and WindowPlugins.dll from your MediaPortal installation (1.2 Alpha), I can try to compile SubCentral agains them to see if everything works

...And here is the compiled DLL Thanks for helping me test this. Not sure what to do about distribution yet, guess I will have to do 3 builds

Pls, paste full log files. I'm cannot really understand what's going on for you
