How can I tell if it is the LAVSplitter that is in use? What configuration parts are depenent on LAVSplitter and what is LAVSplitter depentent on (What do I need to have installed/configured to activate it)? The only thing I have changed is the subtitles engine, and I have configured LAVSplitter as in picture 3 in your last post.

Perhaps it could be useful to see your setup in the video tab in 'Codecs and renderers'?

    Daniel,

You have to use graphstudio and register proppage.dll (regsvr32 proppage.dll), you put graphstudio and dll into a dir like c:\utils\graphstudio.
Fire up MP and start the sample, open graphstudio and do "ctrl + g" to connect on remote filter and a graph should be display and you can see if lavsplitter is in use :)

    Seb :)

I have attached the picture from graphstudio (I couldn't insert the picture in the post for some reason).
Does it look ok? Is it LAVSplitter in use? It doesn't look quite right, does it?

I have the same settings as you in the codecs and renderers...

    /Daniel

Edit: Ahh, it was a preview of the attachements.

It was haali as splitter, you can uninstal it on unregister it, haali override all other codec so if we want to use lavsplitter we should uninstall it and fter that it should work :)

I uninstalled Haali, and now it looks like this in graphstudio (attached).

It still does not work though. Same behaviour as before.

Ok this is good :) Lavsplitter is added correctly but no subtitle pin.
It seems that the sample didn't have subtitle or not detected.
Can you supply log ? and surely upload a sample :)
    Thanks.

It is the same movie that I did the last sample from. It should be exactly the same, just another part of the movie.

Can I download the sample I did before (I didn't keep it) from the ftp site? I seem to have trouble downloading from the site. I would like to test with that sample since you have got it to work.

It is getting late now and I need to get up early in the morning, so I'll continue tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'll supply you a log and get you a new sample from the movie, from around the timestamp where I have run the movie for testing.

Thanks for all your time and effort you spend on this. I really appreatiate it a lot.

    Thanks!

    /Daniel

Woopi, it works! With the sample... At least it is not my setup that is weird or wrong! ;)

I tried it on some other movies as well, and it worked on them too. I have tested far from all, but I'll test as much as I can.

The movie, from where the clip was made, must be special in some way. It still does not work (other than the clip).

I have attached a logfile where I started the movie, moved forward 3min and then tried to get the subtitles to work. Tried a few times.

I'd like to upload the entire movie for you (but not for the public), can I copy the movie to your dropbox? It is around 4,8GB. Or can I use the ftp site for such large files?

Thanks again for all help! Now atleast I know this works even on my machine so I can go on setting up the system. :)

    /Daniel
