Which skin are you using? Some logs would be nice (infoservice.log, mediaportal.log, error.log). Also please enable the debug option in infoservice configuration

Here are the logs and the skin file that I'm using.

The weather icons just doesn't seem to update when I change city.

In the log should be something like this "MPWeatherGUI has been closed." But it isn't. You must change the weather in the weather mp gui. As soon as you leave this screen, InfoService will notice that, and looks for the new city code. Don't know actually where the problem is

that's weird, I did close it and went back to basic home but the city still did not update.

is there any way to update it while still in the weather gui?

The latest version of BleazleWide (V8.1) supports "current weather" on the weather screen if you install the optional add on. The download links are in the forum thread (click the "skin info" link in my signature)
