joz,

I tried your *.xml for MediaStream. I can see the drive information but I cannot see anything for the cpu and RAM gauge.

What I am doing wrong ?

Not even the background (black)?
I'm skinning on a 1680x1050 display so positioning errors could sneak into my skinning.

Edit:
I just noticed I have the complete opposite of what you're experiencing. The drive gauge is not shown on startup but it is when I hit F5 (refresh plugin) or when I select a drive. Probably me doing something wrong here. It doesn't do that with the default monochrome file. Dunno what's going on, I suspect that some stuff that is specific to this skin is causing some issues. Maybe Pilehave should take a look at it.

Same deal here, dunno what's going on.
The black background is because you're missing the background I had set in the XML. Attached this background (which should go into the media folder of the skin).

p.s.
My skin is missing the status label for the tvserver because I don't use that. You could copy paste those controls from the default monochrome skin if you want 'em (then you will need to adjust posx and posy too to have it in the right position).
Already tried putting that back but it's not the cause of the error (not displaying certain gauges). Well it's not an error per se, it's probably something I did wrong with the mediastream skin file

Edit:

I also have found a bug, I believe. I run a x86 system (XP SP3) with 4GB of memory. SySInfo tells me I have 2GB of memory which really should be 3GB and a bit (because of 32 bit limitations)
