Hi,
I'd like to ask this, is the correct way to configure satellites when you have a head with 2 output towards my TBS 5980 by using AA and AB in the diseqc settings (Astra 19,2 and Hotbird 13)?
I tried various settings (simpleA/simpleB, AA, AB) but was never able to scan the Astra one. I only was able to scan Hotbird. Cable and head are running without problems on my dreambox 800.

It seems I have hotbird on AA and Astra on BB.
Still have to make the cam working. It worked on Dvbviewer but seems not with the patch, cannot watching scrambled channels

Yes, its a lasting issue with this patch. It only works with single sat config. Pitty I have reported this issue a year ago.

The original patch that I posted supported DiSEqC. You should post log files if you have problems.

Hi, my logs are attached. Thanks.
    Hi,

I still could not solve this problem. Any idea about this problem. I just wrote this to TBS support as well. Here is my post to them which includes additional information.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I have problem switching channels on different satellites in MediaPortal. I have a 2/1 diseqc relay switch which combines 3 dishes from the central system and a single dish that I own. When I am on a channel on one of the 3 satellites on the central system I can change to any of the channels on these 3 satellites. Similarly when I am on one of the channels on the single dish I can change to any of the channels on the single dish. When I change from a channel on the 3 satellite system to a channel on the single dish, most of the time (but not always) it switches without problem. However when I change from a channel on the single dish to a channel on the central system it always gives "no signal" error. When I keep changing to other transponders on the central system without going back to a channel on the single dish, eventually it locks up on one of the channels in the central system after a few attempts and after that I can change to any channel on the central system as long as I don't change to a channel on the single dish.

This happens on the MediaPortal. On DVB Dream there is no problem (almost never). I can change to any channel on any satellite. However once I have the problem on the MediaPortal and I go to DVB Dream after shutting down MediaPortal I still get the same problem on DVB Dream, which means it is also related to the card.

In addition after a new installation of Windows when I do a fresh scan of channels on MediaPortal the problem was much worse. I could not switch between any channel on the central system and the single dish and once this happened I could not switch between channels on two systems on DVB Dream either. I had to restart to make the other system work. Then I deleted all the fresh scanned channels and imported my old channels and now again I can switch from central system to single dish without much problem and I could switch back to central system after several attempts.

Finally I think the same problem happens with ArgusTV as well and I use the TBS CI/CAM Support DLL from the MediaPortal forums (before that I could not even scan channels on the single dish).

    Thanks.

Anybody have success with TBS 6618 card (or similar) and DVB-C radio channels?
I am can't tune to radio channel on cable, TV working.
Not sure is issue related to TBS card, CAM or MediaPortal configuration.
According to log card successfully tuned, but no audio provided, time counter in MP show 0:00.
Unfortunately, all radio channels on my cable provider is encrypted, so i can't verify with FTA radio channel.

It looks like this is actually a TV channel:
    [2013-09-21 23:40:51,699] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - subch:0 pid:121F video type:MPEG-2
    [2013-09-21 23:40:51,699] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - subch:0 map pid:121F video type:MPEG-2
    [2013-09-21 23:40:51,699] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - subch:0 pid:11BB audio lang: type:MPEG-1
    [2013-09-21 23:40:51,715] [Log ] [21 ] [INFO ] - subch:0 map pid:11BB audio lang: type:MPEG-1

    It has video...
I wonder if that could be causing an issue for playback.
    Decrypting seems to be fine.
So question is: what codecs are you using? MP log files required.
