I have a brand new Hybrid TvCard TerraTec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD that support DVB-T,DVB-C and Analog TV.
In TerraTec HomeCinema there are listed DVB-T and DVB-C as 2 seperate cards, but in Mediaportal only DVB-T and Analog TV appears.
It does not detekt the DVB-C part of the USB Card.
Have tested with several tv application, but only TerraTec HomeCinema detekt the DVB-C part.
Is it possible to change some settings in Mediaportal to detekt the DVB-C part, or is this a problem with the BDA driver from TerraTec?
For infomation the DVB-T working ok.

Regards

Hi jadman!

I have exactly the same problem. I tried to add the DVB-C part by using GraphEdit. The listed BDA Receiver Component can only be connected to the DVBT Network Provider. I can’t find a filter to make the DVB-C Network Provider work with this TV Card.
I contacted TerraTec, but they refer to Team MediaPortal as the TerraTec HomeCinema works with DVB-C Network Provider.
I’m waiting for some new ideas to make this TV Card run...

Sincerely
orus

DVBViewer Now works with DVB-T and DVB-C!
The DVBViewer team has made some tweaks in their software so it detekt the DVB-C part of TerraTec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD.
Works only with DVBViewer 3.9.4.25 BETA version.
I use the same driver from Terratec.
Hope some Mediaportal gurus can fix this.

Don't think there is any news about this sorry.
I am using DVBViewer and that software supports this device.

The problem with MediaPortal Server, is that it only detect the DVB-T part of the card.
Maybe some tweaks of the driver can be a solution?
DVBViewer Team did some tweaks in the software.
I am not a programmer, so I think some programming gurus can take a look at this.
Read on ProgDVB forum and they have the same problem with this.
