Hi,

I'm not getting it to work :(
I've used the DVB Selector and reboted the System,
but TV-Server always brings up "no Signal" Error when searching for Channels :(
Which OS do you use and which Driver. I'm on XP SP3 and I'm using the latest Driver from
the Terratec HomePage.

If someone could give me a hint what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks

Tested DVB Selector in XP pro SP3 and registry settings was fine here.
Driver:5.8.630.0 Vista Home Premium SP1 OK.
Driver:5.8.630.0 XP Pro Sp3 OK.

1.Do you see "DVB-C Cinergy HTC USB XS Digital Tuner" under Mediaportal -TV Server Configuration -> TV Servers?
2. Test Manual Scan with correct Frequency, symbolrate and Modulation.

It did work now :D thanks for your help.

But tuning is very slow :(

I also use this card for DVB-C on my Mac Mini with EyeTV 3.0.4, which also supports this card
and channel changing is almost instant.

Myabe a solution for this?

Thanks for your help.

Great you got it to work :D
I think slow tuning is a Mediaportal problem, channel tuning is about 3-4 seconds here.
Tested With DVBViewer and channel tuning is about 1-2 seconds and with VLC it is 0,5-1 second.

So its a Problem of MP and I can hope it will be solved with the 1.0 Release...
But for now I'm happy that it works at all :)

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

any changes here regarding the channel change speed. Will it be fixed with MP1.0?

I try it with WinDVR3, and YES it found channel !
But TV playing at MediaPortal brings only crashes and stutterd pics. Channel changing is also impossible.
I also dont get it to get DVB-C to work...
I'm one step before to send it back to Amazon and buy another more copatible one.
