I hope with RC3 there are some news with this Subject and I hope that the Card is working.
Could someone confirm this please. Hope there is something to confirm

Sorry, but it dont´t work with RC3. I made a new Installation Yersterday with RC3 and only the DVB-T and the analog part is detected on TV-Server.
Maybe one of the developers can give us some hope for this TV-device?

Solution to the problem

I found a solution to the problem from here

All you have to do is edit (I had a bit different key path on my vista home premium, so I had to create new keys) registry key HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\USB28xxBGA\Settings\OEM\DVBTorDVBC to value 0 for DVB-C configuration. Restart was needed to activate the new setting.

I created HKLM\System\ControlSet001\Services\USB28xxBGA\Settings\OEM\DVBTorDVBC and HKLM\System\ControlSet002\Services\USB28xxBGA\Settings\OEM\DVBTorDVBC where DVBTorDVBC is dword value set to 0.

So perhaps you need to create key "Settings" under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\USB28xxBGA and key "OEM" under just created "Settings" and dword "DVBTorDVBC" set to 0 under "OEM".

Edit: Corrected value 1 to 0

Or just add these lines to the registry:

HKLM\System\ControlSet001\Services\USB28xxBGA\Settings\OEM\DVBTorDVBC and

HKLM\System\ControlSet002\Services\USB28xxBGA\Settings\OEM\DVBTorDVBC

DVBTorDVBC is dword value to 0.

DVB Type Selector

DVB Type Selector.

This application add or remove registry settings automatic for use DVB-C with TerraTec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD in MediaPortal.
Tested and working also with ProgDVB 6.

The application need .NET installed to work and must be run as Administrator.

For TerraTec Home Cinema or DVBViewer_3.9.4.25Beta or later choose DVB-T for default settings.
For MediaPortal or ProgDVB choose DVB-C for DVB-C or DVB-T for DVB-T.
No need for restart, only remove and reinsert TerraTec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD device.
Tested with Windows Vista SP1 and XP SP3.
