TerraTec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD (1 Viewer)

Did anyone get the Terratec CInergy HTC usb XS Hd working with mediaportal 1.1.0?

I installed the latest (1.1.0) version of mediaportal and the tv server on my system.
I bought an terratec cinergy htc usb xs hd tv tuner and installed it.

first i had the error "no audio/video" with the analog tuner while setting it up in tv-config.
I found on the forum i had to install windvr3 - tried it but no-go. Seems that the system lacked an mpeg encoder driver.
So i installed pinnacle studio i recently bought...and it worked...although a bit:
the problem is that when i try to watch, sometimes it works (for 30seconds or so) and than it freezes
digital seems to work without problems.
i attached the tv logs.
Does anyone know how to get this working?
(i double posted it here (and in general forum) because of the title of this tread)

Does one of these codex have a better result than what i have running now?
Has anyone this usb stick working? if yes, with what OS (xp, vista,7)and codex?

this tuner work ok on any windows version.
Personal i use microsoft codecs for mpeg and HD.other have good result with DivX v7.XX( not latest version), or Arcsoft any version, Cyberlink, etc.

DivX codecs( any vers) and Mainconcept use software hardware acceleration.

reeven: do you have this tuner working (especially the analog part?)
It would be a great help if you could tell me wht was installed exactely? (os, drivers tv card, codex for mpeg encoding + version nr).
Mine does not work propperly with windows xp SP3, mediaportal 1.1.0 and the intervideo codex.(i am on holyday now, so i do not know the exact version nr of the codex, its the one from pinnacle studio 12)

Are you using the latest drivers? The drivers on the cd are probably old ones.

Off course i can only speak for myself, but i am using the drivers from the cd which are (as far as i can find) the latest version. The nr is: 5.09.1202.00

Yes. And the last Terratec Home Cinema, 6.15. I tried my tuner to another computer with same tuner and which work fine.
But, my tuner has same problem (freeze after aprox. 2 min. and signal level is 0%).
Now, I returned the tuner where I bought.

For all dvb-c terratec users, use dvbviewer or mediaportal, dvbdream, progdvb, mediacenter+ dvblink, etc.

Install Terratec Home Cinema, EVEN if you do not use it, because it contain cyberlink terratec codecs, optimised for this tuner.

Install dvbviewer, or mediaportal, or any app that you want, choose EVR CUSTOM on video, choose Terratec Cyberlink Decoder for video and audio, and you'r good to go.

Arcsoft codec freeze image, same with DivX , ffdshow, mainconcept, elecard, microsoft.
