For all dvb-c terratec users, use dvbviewer or mediaportal, dvbdream, progdvb, mediacenter+ dvblink, etc.

Install Terratec Home Cinema, EVEN if you do not use it, because it contain cyberlink terratec codecs, optimised for this tuner.

Install dvbviewer, or mediaportal, or any app that you want, choose EVR CUSTOM on video, choose Terratec Cyberlink Decoder for video and audio, and you'r good to go.

Arcsoft codec freeze image, same with DivX , ffdshow, mainconcept, elecard, microsoft.

What is ARGUS?!

Even on Dvbviewer image freeze sometimes, but you get an option_ Rebuit graph, or close and reopen dvbviewer, and is ok.
But still Dvbviewer is the best stable software for tv.
Maybe it's my signal , i do not know, i have 100%.

Argus is the tv service from 4therecord. At least in combination with MDAPI it's far more stable then the tv service from mediaportal itself.

I tried latest Mediaportal with my cinergy tuner, there are some problems, mediaportal startup is slow, like few minutes, crashes appear.
If mediaportal tvservice is started, i could not watch live tv on dvbviewer, dvbdream, etc. I must stop tvservice and then watch tv with dvbviewer.

After one year that I changed my Cinergy HTC USB XS HD (freeze after 2-3 min.) and work fine, now I have trouble again. I have signal 0% on all DVB-C channels. I tried on Windows 7 and XP and some problem. What can I do? Thx.

Both you and Laur70 should try using "stop mode" instead of "pause mode". See here for more information...

I think that the tuner is defect, because don't work in Dvbviewer, signal is 0%. When I scan channel, find nothing.

If you're using MP 1.2.0a/1.2.0b and you don't change "pause"->"stop" then DVBViewer won't be able to use the tuner. DVBViewer would not find any channels...
