Will there be an updated TV-testbuild for MP 2 Alpha2 in the near future?

Hi.
AFAIK Morph is working on a fix for the SQLite issue. If this will be fixed a new version will be available, I think. But that's just a guess...

hi, i have tried installing the alpha2 and the slimtv-native(from https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/mp2-alpha-2-pre-release-testing.119416/) i have copied the files.
restart service
then run the setuptv
1) the tv servers is blank? no name displayed. can still scan and get channels etc.
2) in mediaportal client there is no "TV" part, how do you get into TV area?

Hi,

this thread has been updated for a very new test build of NativeTV support inside MP2! The first post contains download link, instructions and screenshots about the new features.

The list of new features is quite long compared to the Alpha4 release, many of the known MP1 features have been added (like series scheduling) and overall usage has been improved.

This build of MP2 is also newer than Alpha 4, it contains the network browsing fix and some fixes to series/movie detection, focus handling improvements (especially for EPG grid).

Please discuss all TV related stuff here. If you find bugs or have feature requests, please start new threads inside this forum section. Thank you!

Additional note: nearly all features are also available via MPExtended (which is not included here!)

Also using these too show ATSC Digital scan's are not functioning

I will test the Wow cable scan if needed but I do not believe there has been any work into this...

Opened SlimTV and got the Red X in the upper corner

Please be sure when reporting issues with TV Server configuration to state whether you're running it on the client or server.

Probably the table in the database is empty. @gibman @morpheus_xx please can you check that out since you're the EF experts.

I've added two clear warnings about missing or broken feature to first post.

Known Issues
ATSC support can be considererd as broken, as the code part is "work in progress" and not finished.
Analog support: this build does not contain any 3rd party MPEG encoder. Analog tuner will only work if there is one of the supported encoders installed (registered) before. If MP1-TvServer is installed on same PC, it works (MP1 delivers one)
