Thank you! Now it is working! Because this thread is called test builds for native TV I was sure that other stuff won't be installed. There is another thread MP1 tv-server with MPextended provider where I expected a special build including the MPextended provider.

Hi ge2301,
Are you sure previous installation of MP2 were completely removed ?
The installer from page1 should only install the native TV provider.
Otherwise, there is something wrong with the installer.

I had a previous installation of MP2, but deinstalled it and also removed manually any remaining files from ProgramFiles\TeamMediaPortal\...
But since nobody else seems to have a problem, there but have something not ok with my installation I guess...

Depending on the version being installed will depend on what the un-installer does
Normally C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal does get un-installed unless it has issues stopping a process
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal is never uninstalled

Hi,

I installed the latest version and run SetupTV, channel scan, etc. and created a channel group with my favorite channels.

But I can't start TV from MP2 Client. If I click on the SlimTv tile nothing happens and under the current date an error icon appears. The message behind the error icon is (translated): No tv provider found!

What does that mean? Do you need log files? (I didn't find anything interesting in the log files regarding this issue)

There is something wrong with the installer.
Under program files/ teammediaportal/mp2-client/plugins/
In that folder only slimtvclient and slimtvnativeprovider may be present, not SlimTV MPExtended provider

Hi,

When can we expect a next test build? Will TVE3.5 be then also ready for MP1? I fully configued MP1 for my needs and it is working pretty well. Just my TV card is not supported by TV3. Thats the only reason I'm using MP2 at the moment.
