Hadn't the time to test this yet, but as far as I know you can just exchange the filters :)
At least this is true for tve3

This is true for TVE 3, but I'd like to change it for TVE 3.5 to get faster channel change. Any chance of that, or do you prefer to only work on the new filter version?
Prefer to work on new (merged) filter.

Does the filter need to be destroyed and recreated, or is it enough to stop the graph, call Load(), then start the graph?
Needed to be destroyed and recreated.

Anyway, for new filter I recommend to pause/stop graph before calling Load(). Stopping graph is better, because it physically stops receiving data, pausing graph cause only pushing data to connected filter(s), but receiving data is not stopped.

I have never tried this before but....
With the new DLL... I tried the SAP Announcements and did not find anything.
Next I tried the next one in the list

Can't test it this evening because a friend comes over and we learn together, but we should give it a try :) in tve3.5 is so much new. So that doesn't realky matter anymore :D
In first tests with tve3 it seemed akready pretty stable :)

Okay, for now I will support that in TVE 3.5. Once you are comfortable that your reworked/merged filter is stable enough I would be happy to include it with TVE 3.5, and then we can remove the destroy + recreate code.

Anyway, for new filter I recommend to pause/stop graph before calling Load(). Stopping graph is better, because it physically stops receiving data, pausing graph cause only pushing data to connected filter(s), but receiving data is not stopped.
    Okay, thanks! :)

SAP announcement support does not work. It has never worked.

I don't think you're going to be able to test IPTV. My understanding is that the streams are not usually available unless you are a customer of the internet service provider.

Yep you need a subscription for T-Home ;) You only get by Telekom and it is a special package. They basically sell normal Tv via they telephone line. But it uses your internetbandwith so I would never buy this :D If you have cable tv you can record and watch as much as you like without worrying about your internet speed :)

@Holzi (...and anybody else who is also testing IPTV...)
Please could you add the attached patch as well. Hopefully it fixes the problem.

If you have a chance (no rush, no urgency) I'd also be interested to know if you're able to get the reworked filter from here working with TVE 3.5:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ortal-url-source-splitter-iptv-filter.121165/

In theory it should work perfectly. Just curious and interested to see how the different versions of the filter compare in terms of stability and speed.

    Thanks again! :)

    Great info guys... Thanks...
But should it error out with exceptions like it did for me even if it is not available?
