unfortunately TV doesn't work for me with update 1. I tried several settings, but tuning does not find any channels.
The same failure i had with MP1 in the past, really hope nothing was changed with TVE3.5 in this direction.
Attached my error logs. I'm using DVB-S with Diseqc, settings were same as with last Mp2 version.
Edit: I have also tried uninstalling MP2 completely with all settings, it doesn't help.
I moved your post to this thread, as it fits here better.

You wrote that you had similar problems in MP1 before? Does your tuner still work at all (also in other software). If there were no driver updates or similar, it could be that the tuner got defect...

The HVR-5500 does not work with MP1, when DVB-S Diseqc commands are used.

    Details here:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...7-findet-alle-sender-mp-findet-nichts.123930/
It was checked in detail with mm1352000. The problem is known and due to design freeze of TVE3 it won't be solved.

With all MP2 versions it was always working so far. As MM1352000 explained the architecture was changed in TVE3.5 and the problem was solved.
However with MP2 AE U1 it looks exactly like the problem with MP1. Scan does not find any channel. It does not mean, it's really the same problem as in MP1, but I wonder which change in TVE3.5 may cause this. There where a couple of new settings compared to previous version. I tried all configurations, but not successful.

The Tuner is ok for sure: With previous MP2 AE it is working and also Windows MCE 8.1 works without any problem :(

Perhaps somebody from TVE3.5 team can have a look at the log files.

Sure, if you provide them. ;)

[edit: Actually it is very possible you see the same problem as ulischultz (failure to load the tuner extensions), except manifested in a different way.]

    @ge2301
    Thanks. :)
I was partially right. Your problem seems to be that no extensions are loaded. However there is no exception like we see in ulischultz's log files.
    [2014-09-12 23:35:44,696] [6217636] [24 ] [DEBUG] - tuner extension loader: load extensions
    [2014-09-12 23:35:44,696] [6217636] [24 ] [DEBUG] - tuner extension loader: checking for supported extensions
    [2014-09-12 23:35:44,696] [6217636] [24 ] [DEBUG] - tuner extension loader: 0 extension(s) supported

You need at least the Hauppauge and Conexant extensions in order for DiSEqC to work.
@morpheus_xx please can you check the Native TV package here:
    https://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/slimtv-nativetv

It looks like none of the plugins or custom device extensions are included in that package.
