Hi, every time I use the EPG I have problem to read the actual time. It would be nice to have a clock showing the exact time, example 23:22 , in the lower right corner. It should be in the following picture.

This is actually a feature request which I have already proposed some time ago. At that time no one was willing to do/add it...

MrMario64: I know that the CVS is never a stable release. But I really like what's going on at the moment, that's why I'm using it. The only thing I want is to help in bug reporting and skin design. I didn't want to complain. :wink:
As I am a professional DVD authorist, I just thought my experience in TV screen design would help a bit. So please don't get me wrong.

BTW, my TV and color setups are okay, they did not change. But I noticed that all skins are too bright now, so it's propably something in the latest CVS. Let's wait and see...


Update: It's fixed. "TexturePacker.cs" was to blame... :wink:

Hi all,

it is very easy to add the current Time to the epgscreen.

Its only to add the time with a font and the positions in the xml, that´s all.

I will do that for "Naley" for the next release.

@all with comments, there are a lot of things that will need some attention and this skin will be something that I will continue improving for a long time. Right now I am actually taking it a little slow so that I can learn a bit more how the new engine works but when I understand more and seen the results on how it acts I will continue. Until then I will relax and reload my batteries. Soo don't worry, my intention with this skin is that it should be more polished then it is now.

Samsonite, some feedback to your skin:

- I don´t like the border on the home screen. It looks better without, it´s clearer.
- My wife (and me too) thinks, the EPG screen is far to dark. It´s a lot darker as the homescreen. Even it looks like, maybe because of all the data there.
- The OSD is great, especially the transparent border!
- In the OSD, the text is overlapping a lot on the top.
- On the TV GUI joe is sitting on the text (overlaps it)
- The buttons on the home screen now are great!!

there r too many buttons in tv home, we will be moving buttons aways there into context menu's so that will be solved to,

About the TV guide.

Samsonite, why r the arrows indicating that a program continues on the next page gone? you made the graphics all blue? no arrows to be found anymore.
They really should be in it.
MCE skin still has them so you will know what graphic should look like what.
Currently the guide is not looking nice because of this.
it is all too monotone.
