Really like the skin!

I added the current time to the EPG page (top right) and the OSD (bottom right). I like the arrows on the EPG, but I just need to see the actual time. Might be a suggested addition?

Offcourse I don't mind, and there will not be any MAJOR changes to the skin now, just tweaks.

Ah, that's a relief. It'll be mostly the xml files then?

I'm really starting to enjoy this now. I made a new background in a few colors. The result:

Green version
Red version

Next thing I'm going to do is play around with the buddy and icon colors. This is fun!

Glad you like it. I only changed the background of the BlueTwo skin. There are more files that should be worked on, but for now you can download the background image here.

To use it, act as follows:

• In MediaPortal\skin there is a directory named BlueTwo. Copy this directory and rename it.
  In the renamed directory there is a subdir called media. Replace the background.png in this dir with the new one.
  Delete background_start.png and menu_bg.png.
  Finally, in Media Portal change the skin to the one with the new background.

If you can't figure it out just let me know.

Changing the color of the buddies and icons is a bit more time consuming than I thought...I now have a set of golden buddies and home screen buttons. Work in progress, a copper version:

And now I'm going to check out MP 0.1.0.8!

newbie questions... just stumbled into media portal today after getting a bit tired/frustrated with meedio... love MP so far! been looking around the forums to find some other skins to play with that didnt come with the release, and since i love the look of mce 2005, this was a good place to start. BUT i get the "outdated skin" error when i try to run it, and the system just hangs and doesn't launch MP (using a diff skin fixes this). does that mean there is a newer download than the one i got or is something wrong? and i keep reading about a "crystal" skin, but i don't see it. in fact, i keep looking around, and i don't see any other skins on the forum (but a lot of mockups), they would be in the graphics/skins dev section, right? thanks a lot and everyone keep up the good work-- ive been following meedio (paid license!) since the old myhtpc days and MP has me 99% converted in just a few hours!!

At the moment there aren´t more skins than the delivered. Afaik, the toilet paper skin is in progress and MrMario also works on one. But I don´t know any details.

The crystal skin was replaced by the BlueTwo. I don´t know if it is developed for further releases.
