7lle, I have tried DVBViewer for a while now and I get perfect picture on SVT HD, Comhem Small, and a FloppyDTV/C. But I cant get it whitin MP.

BTW, do you all guys have the problem that it takes a long time, 5-8 seconds, to change channal with Comhem and Mediaportal? Its so frustrating because I really love Mediaportal. When I use DVBViewer or Vista MCE it takes 1-2 seconds to change channal.
I have talk to Magnus Thomé at Tystpc.nu and he says that the combination of Comhem-Mediaportal is a known issue to take long time swapping.

I have the same problem with long channel switching with comhem and mediaportal.

My configuration is avalible here - MyConfig.txt. It would be to big to past in the post.

If this is a known issue, where is the problem?
Who should we talk to to get it fixed?

I really do not want to drop MP.

I'm a user of MP for almost two years now. A few days ago I formated my hard drive and installed the new RC2 of MP1. Now it cannot find all my channels when I do a scan. I use FloppyDTV and the FireDTV viewer do find those channels. Signal level/quality in MP is also reported full during scan. A few channels do show up, both free and scrambled. SVT1/2/24/Barn and TV4/Plus/400/Film/Fakta are among those.

Any ideas?

Hi, Im using RC2 with the same card, floppydtv, with the latest firmware and latest BDA drivers (not MCE drivers) and have no problem. Have you tried to remove the CA module and put it in again and then do a rescan?

Tried to remove and reinsert the CAM, no luck.

I also use the BDA drivers included in package from november 2007 and just updated to the new firmware. One difference from my previous setup is Windows SP3 instead of SP2, that also make some hotfixes impossible to install. I hope those are included in SP3?

Im using the same BDA drivers and Im running Vista 32 bit version but that could not be the issue(?). I have heard that XP SP3 have other problems but not with Mediaportal. Have you search for any problems with SP3?

Yes, I have googled a little without luck. The logfile that has to do with scanning shows that the same channels are found over and over again although the frequency change. That explaines why MP says it has updated 160 channels but only show 8. I have posted my problem in the support thread also now...

I can't get the EPG for channel 9 (kanal 9) working. I am only receiving analog. Anyone got a working URL? I use all URLs from the COMHEM web site for all other channels in the "analoga basutbudet". Works perfectly, but I can not see that kanal 9 is listed with an URL? I am using WEBEPG for receiving the guide.

Why not use dagenstv.com in WebEPG for Kanal 9?

I tried a WEB-site that had an URL like "kanal9.se", but it didn't work. I don't know why. That is why I wanted the URL for kanal 9 from COMHEM. I will take a look at dagenstv.com though. I was hoping that someone knew the kanal 9 URL for COMHEM.
