don't know if it's of any help but if i run Digital Everywhere CI program i get:

Have been running my system with a viaccess cam for a long time but a whil ago i started to have problems with the channel is scrambled message appearing when i havn't used wathc tv for a while.
It helps to take out the cam and reinsert it but it bothered me enough to try and do something about it.

Since i heard the conax cam are suppose to work best with comhem i bought one of those but when I try it out it only works on the frist channel i watch if i switch the channel is scrabled comes up.
I tried in FDTV Viewer and the cam works great there.

Has anyone has expirions of the same problem?

What's the exact model of the CAM?

I just recently found out that the HD-channels are now working (atleast Canalplus Sport HD), but i have trouble getting the scan to find Canalplus Film HD. Would anyone be willing to give some help here, i used the tuning parameters for Comhem Stockholm but it doesnt find Canalplus Film HD in the scan... All the other channels (including HD channels) is no problem finding, only the c+ film-one...

What do you mean with "working", have Comhem removed the pairing?

From the manual/wiki:
"You can manually scan the following frequency to find all transponders: Frequency: 786000 Symbol Rate: 6875 Modulation: 256QAM "

I can confirm that Canal+ Sport HD and Canal+ Film HD works fine with Comhem in Mediaportal.

I have the same issue, but I'm also lacking TV 4 HD :-( My dreambox have no problems finding these channels.

A) In order to see TV4 HD you need a HD subscription

B) In order to see Canal+ Sport/Film HD you need a Canal+ Total(?) subscription

C) You can find Canal+ Film HD by scanning 746000/256QAM/6875. I had problems with this one initially due to a very low signal strength on the frequency. I removed my "mantelströmfilter" and the signal became strong enough for MediaPortal.

Right, well I have all of that including TV4 HD, as I said my Dreambox finds and shows the channel with no issues but a channelscan using (comhem stockholm and comhem göteborg) doesnt show it. Some other HD channels show up as well, but not woom or whatever it's called.

I don't know if this is the right thread but I'm getting desperate...

I recently installed 1.0 RC3 and everything went fine until I started with the TV-card (Technotrend C-1501). After scanning the channels I find all the channels I need BUT when I try to preview anything but SVT1,SVT2 and TV4 TvService crashes. The same behaviour is seen in MP. This happens as soon as I change channel to one which I don't have access to, which wouldn't really be a problem. I could just exclude those channels. The problem is that this also happens to channels I know I have access to. Annoying.

I'm starting to suspect that using the predefined providers (Göteborg and Stockholm) might not be correct since I live in Umeå. I can't find any information on the parameters needed to scan though.

Any suggestions or comments are welcome but please explain in detail since this is my first week with MP. I will attach my errorlog if anyone is interested.

the new tvserver needs to explicitly be told you have a cam.
mark your tv-card, click edit and mark "cam enabled and present for this card"

Thank you for your quick reply but that has been done. The error occurs anyway. I'm beginning to suspect drivers. In the device manager I find a driver called "virtual bda dvb network adapter" which isn't functioning properly. This means I cannot start BDA-data. But I can't find any information on where to download an alternative/newer driver. Might this be my problem?
