I can confirm the fix you made solves the problem. It's the only fix ever, which has helped with this problem. Now the MediaPortal flash screen shows "Waiting for TV Server..." until TV Server is really running. If I start viewing TV immediately, TV shows up OK.
One time I got total hang at start up (after trying to open My TV immediately after start up), but it's propably nothing related to this. Logs showed nothing strange.
