My DB got corrupted but now everything works fine. You are right the movingpictures skin files are OK

- This one is really anal but there is a small typo 'Framrate' should be 'Framerate' in the Status Details view (ignore the labels, this is just a screenshot from this morning it works fine now)


- I'm not sure whats going on here. But the image for weather hasn't changed since I took the screen shots this morning. Here is a screen shot from 5 minutes ago and its still showing a moon in both the weather plugin and the homescreen icon and the weather backdrop. But it is 2pm in the afternoon now? No bug here - timezone needed correctly setting in world weather lite plugin after I just restored MePo from my earlier testing.


- Probably always existed in Titan but there are arrows that appear on the TV Guide when the program continues beyond the visible times shown on screen. When the program doesn't go past this the arrows disappear on the left of the guide, but are always visible on the right of the screen even if the program does end on the hour.


Could be worth having a look at Garys Pulse 8 theme for the guide, I think he had it working OK and also had a nice theme for the TV Guide which I really liked

- Noticed something else strange with TV Guide, maybe it is intentional but I don't understand what it's use is if it's there for a reason. Steps to reproduce:

1) Open TV Guide and navigate to the left to the Groups button. Click OK (notice here menu item selected could use a font colour change to white whilst highlighted - like other menus)


2) Whilst in this groups menu, press Right on the remote.. A new strange menu appears?


Whats that for?
EDIT: It seems that menu is in all instances where the context menu is used regardless of plugin.

Nothing new beyond the previous posts to report. Everything seems to work very nicely. I will play tomorrow with TV recordings etc and see how that goes. I think you have produced a fine skin / mod / theme and it is now my default!

Could I bother you for which image file is being used as the overlay for the homescreen backdrops? I've never used a skin that does that and I like the effect! but I'd like to try make it a tiny bit more translucent to let a little more fan art bleed through. Is it a case of modifying the image or is the transparency a value in an xml?

Look for a <colordiffuse> tag.
The first two digits define the transparency

I'm happy to hear you like it so much!

I think most bugs are fixed now. I have made a few more fixes and features wich I will publish soon, but than most things are done.. However, feature requests are always welcome! Than it is waiting untill team Titan has finished there new editor to can create my themes for, but I don't know how long that will take.

I will also look to your points in a previous post about the tv guide.. Let's see if I can find some space for improvements.. And about the menu when you press the right arrow in dialog menu, see this: Click! It's a really cool feature if you have installed BrowseTheWeb. Otherwise you should not see this in my opinion. So can you let me know if you have that plugin installed? Otherwise I will see if I can disable it for users who don't.

Last but not least, about the overlay, I will create a new one wich is a bit more transparant in a new version. For now, you can use Paint.net by example:

-Open background.png from the Mediafolder of TITANIUS in Paint.net
-Move the slider to the left as explained in the attached scroonshot untill you have the transparency you want.
-Save the file as "background_dimmed.png" the same folder and overwright the existing one.
-Clear your skincache.
-Done!

I think it helps we also appear to like to have the same plugins installed and having access to them with their own tiles and submenus is nice

I don't have browse the web installed, so yes if you intended for that to activate only if the plugin is installed, that's another bug. I have myscorecentre on my radar to check out too so may have a look at this plugin then as well.
Regarding the TV guide, the only thing that bothers me is that it feels a little bit dark overall, maybe I am used to seeing it in Titan and Pulse. I hadn't mentioned it too much because you are putting all the work in here and it is your design vision and I respect that so will ultimately go with the flow

EDIT: There was one more thing I was going to mention being as you like to get your 'recent media' on as many tiles as possible in the skin I noticed @offbyone in a thread yesterday saying OnlineVideos now has this feature in it's newest available version if I haven't misunderstood what he was saying.. Maybe something you might want to check out?

Hey.

Just took a view screen grabs to illustrate what I was talking about with the menu font colours.

- The first image is from inside Online Videos (which I think is easier to read), the second all the other menus (difficult to read). I don't have the best eye sight but I find it really hard to see the text and have to get closer to the TV to read it. I think the white text is better for a selected menu item. Maybe it's my eyes but the unselected text font also seems a little darker and easier to read at distance too.

@TheBatfink: Please let me know what you think about this version.. I have tried to fix the bug you reported about the dialog menu, and changed some things in TV guide, TV home and TV recordings to make it a little bit less dark as you suggested.

BTW: I will keep the dialogmenu as t is now when you press the right button.. Also without BrowseTheWeb installed it can be easy as you can go to settings really fast.. It also offers hyperlinkparamters to onlinevideos.. But I fixed the handling of fontcolors to the dialogmenu, I hope that is working fine for you now.
