Great start Morpheus,

I would add an option to enable / disable library sync and remove the one for scrobbling, at the end of the day the scrobbling is you're branding on trakt.tv so it's in you're best interest to get it out there users can always mark their profile as private if they want to remain invisible.

Note: if you're not already doing this, it's a good idea to pull what the user already has on trakt before syncing, this way you can filter what needs to be sent and make it quicker (more so for tvshows)

could be done by a server plugin

This server plugin should be able to add new MI to trakt.tv during import automatically. After creating the thumb and downloading the fanart, "upsync" the new movies or series to trakt.tv So we don't need to manually trigger an "upward" sync every time we've added something to our ML...

Is this something that needs to be thought of while reworking the importer? Just to be sure, I will add a request to the thread...

@morpheus_xx , if you're not already aware the Trakt v1 API is going offline at the end of June:

V1 API goes offline June 30, 2015

Most of you are aware of the v1 ramp down and have long since moved on to v2, but the v1 API will go offline at the end of June. Over the last months, we've shifted servers away from v1 and it's currently down to 2 servers. In comparison, v2 is running on 14 servers!
