Testing has been good the most stable so far. But a problem has occured logs attached.

Normal use had been followed by stress test this morning and one oddity is that the tuner signal dies on the substreams of the last channel left on the mux after other substreams have ended.

'Masters snooker' only recorded for 40mins of the 2hr length coinciding with the ending of another substream

'Poirot' the same.

If I know use setuptv to start a substream on these tuners the tvservice 'No PMT found' showing the drivers have crashed.

Have you had a bsod?

I had reservations about the PMT grabbed from the start as I beleive it is changing the pids for other sub channels.

I'll take a look when I get home.

This time no BSOD.

Just dead tuners all four off them not just the two with the cut off recordings, it is as though when a certain subchannel in the chain is decomposed the drivers are affected.

The tvservice didn't crash. I needed to reboot to get back functionality.

No BSOD but problems

Four of the schedules in the test log failed to end cleanly an locked the tuners

One ended producing a file but locked the tuner.

Three others just continued recording after their schedule end time.

The possible start of this errror cacade is when the BBC Parliament schedule ends after this all schedules fail to end.

The TVSERVICE hasn't crashed at this point and I can still timeshift on the other tuners as you can see BBC NEWS starts on the free tuner



Instead of the now locked tuner. Logs show timeshifting tests.

If I now try to end any schedules from MP GUI this will crash the tvplugin/MP but not tvservice.

Try to stop the TVSERVICE will crash it reqiring a reboot.

Can you try this for me.

Can you disable all EPG functions. i.e. Grab whilst timeshifting/idle.

Then stress test the recordings.

If it works with them disabled then I think I have the fix.

Stess test ran fine. EPG grap dissabled.

All schedules ended cleanly all produced files correct in integrity.

Last stream on tuner also contiued without locking and manualy ended cleanly.

Yes without EPG grab.

Second test run without EPG grab on the go atm, this would nrmaly fail very badly
