Hi.
I have a divx-movie with a srt-file. Sometime I do not want to have the subtitle turned on.

How do I toggle the subtitle on and off? Pressing the button to switch subtitles on DVDs does not work.

Thanks.

Or do I simply(?) have to quit MP and rename the srt-file temporary and then change it back when I want subtitles again?

I think I should have to quit MP in order to toggle the subtitle on and off.. :-/

i havent tried this with a divx files but it works with other files i use

install vobsub and matroska splitter, when installing matroska splitter select the option enable avi support, then you should be able to turn the subtitles on & off using the osd.

i'm using the mp360 4x3 skin and mp rc4.

Hi:

I have both ffdshow and DirectVobSub installed. In my MP setup DirectVobSub is configured as the default subtitle handler for Divx movies.

I'd like to be able to turn or and off, as well as selecting which subtitle to display (i.e. if I have multiple language subtitle, each named the same for avi filename, with an added exts eg supernam.avi, superman_en.srt, superman_cn.srt, etc) while watching a movie...

Pressing the yellow teletext button while watching Divx does not seem to work (works with DVDs tho). Any ideas what could be wrong..?

I tried installing Matroska splitter, but the end result I get is very very jerky video instead while watching Divx and DVD, so I uninstalled it (Matroska Splitter).

Is there anything else I could do, or did I miss something? I'm running XP Pro with MP 0.2.2.0 (no SVN).

Thanks.

@CyberSimian Sorry, I missed your last post. I ended up doing a clean install on the client and all is well now. It still doesn't let me go back in time when I change channels but it does continue operating from that point on. I'm ok with that. Thanks for your help! EDIT: I now downgraded the server (as I did with the client above)...

Sorry, it's my fault -- I did not notice that you are using MP2. :( MP1 has a separate configuration utility, similar to "TV Server Config". I have tried MP2 only a couple of times, and have never used it seriously. I don't know what MP2 supports with regard to adjusting audio delay, but I do know that all of the adjustments of...
