TV Guide - 1 Hour Behind After Clocks Changed! (1 Viewer)

I am having the same problem. I am grabbing my EPG from the DVB-T card. The 6 am new is showing in EPG to start at 5am. The funny thing is that 2 channels that showing the correct EPG times. and 2 channels that have the 1 hours discrepancies. I have done the relevant clearing of the database and even restarted the machines. Checked all time zones and clocks on the machine.

Does, anyone know if the timestamps in the Streams are UTC or local times. Maybe it is a problem from the TV Stations and not MediaPortal. Is there anyway to check what an entry is.......

Nope, I do not know.

The only thing I know is that I got things right by modifying the offset in the guide.
Works for me and hopefully for others too.

Eventually this bug will be solved, but till then .. use this small utility.

I changed the timezone compensation in the XmlTv TVE3 plugin to -1 around the time the clocks changed. I had to drop the TV Database due to an issue in the SVNs at the time removing cards that had been removed (I hadn't physically removed the TV cards but updated the drivers). This maybe why it worked OK for me.

I know I had to have the timezone compensation of -1 while the UK was on BST last year and then amend this to 0 when we changed to GMT in October so I don't think this is a new issue.

The dates appear to be OK in the TVguide.xml file, so I am not sure that the problem is with WebEPG, but they do not get added corrected to the dbo.Programs table by the XmlTv plugin.

Mew: If you say you had to do this last year too, then it's not a bug...? I've just done the same as you (-1 timezone compensation) and all is well again. I'm wonderring why many other people do not have this problem then...

Will await bug confirmation (bearing in mind I am using an old SVN) .

Issues I was having with DVB-T grabbing appears to have been due to TV station transmissions as all is working fine now.
