Has no one found any "Free Codecs" to mpeg4?
've Tried coreavc, but are not completely satisfied.

In Denmark we have television signal in mpeg 4 and that is what it should be used to.

Hi Tvorup

I think a number of people use the CODEC that comes with the trial version of Power DVD 9 forboth MPEG2 and H.264. While the Power DVD application is a limited trial I believe the CODEC itself continues to work indefinately. The only problem may be that if you are using MediaPortal 1.1 Beta with recent SVNs there seem to be some issues at present with H.264 CODECs.

My problem is that the HD channel will sound and the picture not followed.

MEW .... There is a problem with the PDVD9... it's not working, i get black screen and sound, i triede the PCinemar6 no sound and no Pic.
TVORUP...I Use trial version of CoreAVC pro 1.9.5 and i guess ill pay the approx 75 dkr. when trial is not workinganymore.
But if thats the only problem you have...U are lucky ^^

PowerDVD 9 works, it means that the image still jumps and have always done.
I have now ordered a new DVB-T card, so we will see

I got TV working with the new Danish h264/AAC channels working smoothly by using CoreAVC for video, and using MONOGRAM AAC for audio. However, since ffdshow thinks it is also able to decode AAC and I use that for the regular channels (DR1 DR2 etc.) I have to set ffdshow audio configuration for AAC decoding to disabled, otherwise I experience freezes when zapping.

My working codec setup is shown in attached image. YMMV.

I now have a working MP with the new h.264 channels.
