Missing In Action?

Hi

The following logos are all missing from the OP:

Radio: Rabbit, BBC1 Xtra, BBC 5L, BBC R5SX, BBC 7, Absolute

I assume that most of them DO exist somewhere, please could we add them to the rest?

cheers

    Hi,

The most of those listed do exist through the thread, BBC 1 & BBC 2 need renaming from BBC ONE NI etc. You're right they do need collating into one file. TritonT who made the original pack hasn't posted on here for some time, I wouldn't want to upload an updated pack without his permission.

Sorry, post was two weeks old!

Open the PSD file in Photoshop, in the right-hand side of the window you should have a pane called Layers; 2 are present - Background & Overlay.

On background right-click and choose Blending options.

Two options are checked, you can go into the properties and change the colour by clicking into the coloured box to open up the palette and select new colour - you will need to do this for both gradient overlay and inner glow.

Hope this helps! Took some trial and error to work it out myself!

    Best Wishes,

    John
    :)

Added - Discovery Logos - Discovery Knowledge, Discovery Knowledge +1, Discovery RealTime, Discovery RealTime +1, Discovery Science, Discovery Science +1, Discovery Home & Health, Discovery Home & Health +1 & Discovery Turbo.

Added - Logos 6 - NickToonster, Nick Toons, Cartoonito, Jetix, Jetix +1, History, History +1, History HD, Disney, Disney +1, Disney Cinemagic, Disney Cinemagic +1, Playhouse Disney & Playhouse Disney +1.

    Thanks jsimo01. About the logos,

    TritonT said:
I normally get the original logos by Google image search or Lynsat, some then need a rejig to fit the 100x100 format, occasionally I draw them. If the channel has a colour identity I use it for the template background, you need to go about 20% darker than the colour you actually want because of the way the gradient in the template background works. If there is no colour identity I use anything from light grey to black, but never lighter than #CCCCCC as you loose the '3Dness' of the background. I usually scale logos to no bigger than 92x92 before dropping them onto the template. I then use layer properties (mainly darken, lighten) to take out the edges, then tweak a bit to stop them looking too dull. You can get most of them to look OK by this method. For example Discovery Channel was done this way, but after the 'layer darken' it looked too dull so I went back and got the white hightlights from the globe and letters and brought them in as a 'layer normal' on top.

I haven't heard anything from TritonT, nor has he posted on here since August last year. I'm thinking about compiling all the logos together and submitting it to the Plugins section; unless there are any objections. All credit will go to those listed throughout the thread.

    Sound like a plan?

    Sounds good!

I'm not photoshop whizz so if anyone wants to edit any logos I added let me know I can post links to original artwork if needed. Most came from Wikipedia, Google Image search or Lyngsat Logo's. Wikipedia proved useful as they had many in .gif format and had transparent backgrounds.

Anyway, let me know if you need anything. If someone could look at the Disney set - I think it could do with being redone!

    Thanks,

    John
