Just made a test MPI, took about 3 minutes! Seems to work fine.

I agree making a Process Plugin to do everything automatically is not quite as easy as it first appears. The situation is not as simple as the automatic downloading of album covers as the logos change from time to time.

I will make duplicate icons for all naming variations (BBC regions etc). I'll see if I can get an update done today or tomorrow.

Wow, looking forward to seeing this :).

In regards to the channel logos, do they cover ALL channels provided by VirginMedia (channel listing HERE)?

I've also had another little idea. What does everyone think about having a different colour background for each logo based on the TV Category it belongs to? i.e. Factual could be Red, Entertainment could be Blue, Sports could be Green, etc?

Would this look very boring or would it look better than having 'random' background colours?

Not sure this is such a good idea. I like the colours being the same as the channel e.g BBC1 is red, BBC2 is green. Although they do seem to change their colours quite often.

I prefer the colours to reflect the channels branding, like the UKTV/ITV/BBC logos.

yeah good point, i wasn't thinking that some of the logos use the background colour as part of the logo.
