TV Server client config for MP (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

I had a similar issue at some point I could only watch TV locally on the server , remote clients could select from the guide and start TV but will not connect. The Server was time-shifting; but still on the clients there was nothing no audio no video, nothing.

Turn out that when I added a ATSC capture card the Air2PC kind, they are seen in the system as network adapters. for some reason the TV server was trying to use the ATSC's ip address for streaming . I change it to my NIC ip address and viola, things are working again.

Maybe something to add to the install notes, when adding a secondary device that looks like a network adapter, make sure the TV server doesn't gravitate towards it's ip address.

having the same issue as supernoman with fresh 023 RC1 install and latest TV3 and SVN installs Rev15088!!!

TV won't start and same error in log:

doh... beginners mistake
forgot to install latest mediaportal SVN after clean RC1 install...
my prob is solved now and TV is working
