Hi, I have seen this problem from time to time on various version of MP so its not a new problem.
I open TV server Configuration and click on 'TV Channels'. If i then select 'TV Groups' I can not see the TV Groups window, the title changes to TV Groups but the screen stays on what you peviously had selected. I get the same thing if I try to view 'Manual Control', the title changes but I can't actually see the Manual Control page. Only seems to happen on these two pages, and I really need to adjust settings on these pages but cant view them. As I said I have seen this from time to time on other older versions of MP, so this is not new for me. One time I totally re-installed and the problem went away. Anyone have any tips for me to try please?
I have attached three jpegs as examples of my problem.

Kind regards,
Kev.

When this happens, can you close config, or do you need to kill it, has tvservice stopped.

Would need logs for this :)

There is no info in the logs supplied relating to this, sorry mate.

Do you get the Allchannels group being produced if you kill tvservice and then restart it, this should work fine with 1.0.2, I know I had the issue of the group not appearing until mediaportal had run with 1.0.1.

The error in the error.log is the same one as I was getting. The one that begins:

2009-05-10 20:41:00.589369 [SetupTv]: Exception :Error: UnexpectedRowCountUnclassified
Gentle.Common.GentleException: The number of returned rows 0 did not match the expected count of 1.

If it's the same as mine, this error is generated each time I tried clicking on the Manual Control or Radio Groups links on the left hand menu. Whatever is currently on the right-hand menu stays the same even though the top of the screen changes to say "Manual Control".

Closing the Config utility and restarting the service made no difference. Deleting all of the channels and rescanning made no difference. Only way I got around this was by re-installing the TV server using the "clean out all settings" option and then not scanning anything on the DVB-S cards.

this issue occurs if you have no tv-groups.
i.e. after clean installation -> Scan for channels.

but with 1.0.2 this issue should be fixed, because now the "all channels" group is created when you start TV-Server Configuration.
since this change, the issue nolonger reproduceable on my system.

I am just reinstalling everything due to this ver same problem. Had the service working fine but changed a few things. Afterwards when I rescanned I ticked "create groups for each provider" and wasn't able to get into the TV Groups section anymore. I am just scanning again WITHOUT the group-option, maybe that helps.
    :D so far =) Max

news: I was able to enter the TV Groups section ONCE just after scanning. I then set everything up the way I needed it. When coming back from radio-grouping I wasn't able to enter TV Groups anymore (Manual Control neither).
