mabdk, please try to reboot your machine witht the tv server. Check the "Known issues" on the first post. Then it should work if you have write access to the tv server path from the client.
This will be fixed with the next version.
pog, i am working on the access rights right now and plan to use a network communication via named pipes in the future. i will need help from users with a multiclient configuration in about 1 to 2 weeks.

Cheers mate, tried this already after reading 1st post ;-)
But it doesn't work. And yes all my clients have full access to the server folder.
Confirmed this by creating a new folder, and deleting it afterwards.
But I just reverted to earlier version, and will wait patiently for the next release.
Have some other issues with it not picking up some shows with danish characters in the title, do I'm keeping busy

can you provide a log file with the connection issue, which did not disapear after a reboot? (log file in the MP directory) Also on your issue with the danish characters, does this happen in the title? Can you include an example in the log (log file from the tv server directory)?

Just a quick one. I think the epg changes are working as intended now. I have not spotted any errors using the new version (I deleted all messages and schedules and started again).
Excellent work. I think that this plus the altered logic for duplicates makes this an essential plugin for me now. I currently have 110 schedules!
Of course, there won't be anywhere near that number recorded because many of them are epg entries that only have a title and nothing else yet.
(i will let you know if i see anything odd)

After a long ... long struggle I am releasing the next test version with the pipe communication between server and client. So you need no more write access from the client at the server´s folder. I also fixed the version mismatch issue and found some bugs on data consistency with the locking mechanism.
As the pipes are completely new I do need help on testing especially for multiseat installations and also for the locking algorithm between client and server

I have a multiseat installation and use TyWishList, is there any special instructions for using this version. I have been doing everything in the TV server.
Huha, thank you my good sir! Working well so far and nothing to report. I will likely use TvWishList a lot more now that I have easy access on my main HTPC.
I have started using the "view only mode" to see upcoming films and documentary and filtering for HD etc, great stuff! The returned list of shows gets a bit big after setting several wishes, it could be useful to be able to just view each wishes lists.
TLD - you can install over your previous version without any changes, this version fixes network client issues.
