Just add my two cents to tell you that your fix worked also for me (DVB-T avermedia volar black , chipset AF9015 and DVB-c Technotrend c-1500) . your explanations matched what I've experimented , long tv service startup and lan "occupied".

I'm having this issue with a BDA9015 trying to connect to the wrong filter with another card installed. I have a dual DVB-T BDA9015 tuner PCI card and now a DVB-T2 USB tuner.The DVB-T2 tuner works fine but the DVB-T tuner is trying to connect to the DVB-T filter. I'm running 1.2 Alpha. Is there a build that I can test? I tried the TVLibrary.dll and the xml file but I get an error when opening TV Serevr setup.

Yep, you found the right build. Glad it did the business for you, and *thank you* for the feedback.

The more people who provide feedback, the more likely I think it is that this was a problem for all AF9015 based tuners. There are *a lot* of those out there, so I'd hate to think of all the headaches this issue must have caused. If you find your tuner on this list, you have multiple tuners in your TV server, and you have problems when you first tune a channel (or when TV Server starts up if you preload your tuners) then it could be worth giving this patch a try. Alternatively, upgrade to 1.2.0b as soon as it comes out...

Is there any chance you could release a patched TVLibrary.dll for MediaPortal 1.1.3 ?

I had to do a reinstall of MediaPortal , and installed Windows 7 SP1 and upgraded MediaPortal to 1.1.3 , and the issues have reappeared .
