I have this strange issue with the TV Server Service where I am watching a DVB-T stream and then all of a sudden the picture freezes and a couple of minutes later says lost connection to the TV Server. I need to restart the TV Service to get things working again as it has stopped.
This happens maybe once a day. Today it happened after the TV was running for numerous hours, but sometimes it might happen after a couple of minutes of watching tv. There were no other clients accessing the server when this happened.
I have in the past been able to cause it to crash by having 2 clients (1 MP and the other is MPTV Client) watching different recordings at the same time. After about 5 minutes the TV service would crash and starting it would resolve the issue. The 2 machines are cat5 100Mb
Attached are my logs for MP and the TV Server.
I run my TV Server on a win 2003 server (no MP installed on Server) and the client is on a XP Pro Sp2 machine. SVN used from november last year do not have this issue.
